Eat, drink and enjoy at these three can’t miss Hamilton cafes.  They are not only dishing up the goods but completely conquering the cafe scene.

The Roxburgh

With a passion for coffee and a spirit for their community, The Roxburgh came to be.  This family-run cafe is housed within an exquisite two-storey bluestone building and also spreads out into an adjoining laneway, affording customers ample dining options.  The inside scene is that of opulence and comfort; plush couches to sink into whilst sipping on your latte, a crackling open fireplace to warm up in front of when the colder weather hits.  The exterior is a hubbub in the warmer months when live music is regularly featured in the laneway.

And the food and drink!  Let’s not forget that and you certainly won’t at the Roxburgh House.  Their menu is laden with tastes and treats; decadent hot chocolates made with Lindt chocolate, house-made pizza topped with fresh and flavourful toppings, comforting tea brewed from T2’s extensive range, traditional toasties, lavish platters of cheeses and dips, a locally-embracing wine selection and so much more!

Groke

Step foot into Hamilton’s number one burger and cocktail bar, where it’s just as much a treat for the eyes as it is for the tastebuds. With pop art murals adorning the walls outdoors and a chic décor to love indoors, you’ll be faced with a tough decision before you even open the menu at Groke.

Offering more than just burgers, take your pick from the six different menu options: House Snacks, Not Burgers, Our Burgers, For the Kids, Sliders and The Salads. As a cocktail bar, their drinks menu is extensive, offering cocktails, mocktails, beer, wine, soft drinks and juices.

Tosca Browns

Tosca Browns; renowned to the locals and loved by the visitors.  Serving up breakfast, brunch and lunch on a daily with consistent excellence and flair.  Their ever-changing menu adapts to not only the seasons but also the local produce availability.  Tosca’s varietal menu will have you pondering with sweet anticipation as to what will be next; a wintery rice and quinoa porridge or a sensational coconut chia pudding.  Other favourite food features have included (but certainly not limited to) mushies and polenta, creamy smashed avos, decadently stacked waffles, smoked eel croquettes, fried chicken bao buns, sweet potato fritters, middle eastern salad and so many more!

You can match your breakfast/brunch/lunch with a range of drinks; the always-pleasing coffee, fresh juices or feeling a little fancy, how about a glass of champagne or an espresso martini?  Dine-in or opt for the outdoors with balcony, beer garden or courtyard areas offered.
