Herrmann Wines
The family owned and operated Herrmann Wines was established in 2005 by John and Dorothy Herrmann with the planting of 5000 Pinot Noir vines on their mixed farm at Tarrington. As the next generation takes up the day to day management, son Brent now oversees the careful nurture of these vines. When optimal ripeness is achieved, long standing family friend and well-known winemaker Tamara Irish works alongside the Herrmanns to bring traditionally styled table wines into bottle and onto your table. While the vines are located in Tarrington, The Hermann Winery and Cellar Door are located at the foothills of the ancient Grampians (Gariwerd), approx. 4km east of Dunkeld. Call ahead before visiting to ensure your timeframes are best accommodated.
A picturesque spot to drop in and sample a hand crafted Pinot or Rose, your visit is welcome and a convivial time at the cellar door is assured.
Children are welcome.
