The park resides on beautifully maintained grounds kept pristine all year round and provides public toilets and BBQ hut nearby. Bookings are essential and can be made by telephoning the team at the Penshurst Post Office.

The Grampians National Park

Go right into the thick of it at one of the seven vehicle-based campgrounds in the heart of the Grampians National Park. These locations provide campers with all the luxuries of bush camping; toilet facilities, picnic facilities and fireplaces. The National Park has a total of seven campgrounds, six of which have caravan access. When choosing to set up camp at a paid campsite, be sure to book ahead before arrival to ensure your space is secured. Staying within the Grampians allows you to truly experience all the wonders of the National Park, day and night. Wake up to the sounds of the bush coming alive and fall asleep under the glow of star-filled sky.

The National Park also offers FREE campsites, three in total.  You’ve got to be quick when scoring a spot as they operate on a first-in-first-served basis and cannot be booked in advance. The Plantation Campground even allows you to camp with your canine companion! Keep in mind though that dogs are only allowed within this campground and the state forest that surrounds it.  To book a campsite or investigate further, visit the Parks Victoria website HERE.
