Located in the heart of Western Victoria’s red-gum country, the Bochara Wines vineyard and cellar door are located 10km west of Hamilton. The winery’s small scale means that all operations are done by hand, with the wines made on site by owners Martin and Kylie. Established in 1998, the winery is a part of the Henty Wine Region, best known for its Sauvignon Blanc, Picnic Train Rose, Pinot Noir and Gewurztraminer. Their wines are sold from their rustic cottage at the vineyard as well as in restaurants and retailers across the Greater Hamilton region and south west Victoria. The Bochara Wines cellar door, built during the nineteenth century, was formerly the home of a WW1 Light Horseman and is open for people to buy wines and take tours, with appointments welcome.
