Hamilton Parkrun – Hamilton
The Event – A 5km run, jog or walk. Suitable for all ages and all abilities.
The Setting – Meet at the Lakes Edge Adventure Playground and make your way around the picturesque Lake Hamilton track.
The Cause – This event is FREE, motivated by promoting a healthy lifestyle within this great community. Register before running but after that, simply show up and enjoy the run.

CLB3X3 Champions League Basketball – Hamilton
The Event – A three day 3X3 basketball festival. With categories for under 13’s, right through to opens (male and female). It calls for all abilities and all skill levels to battle it out, 3×3, court style.
The Setting – A myriad of makeshift courts are set up at a location to be confirmed.
The Cause – For the love of basketball and getting active.
April
The Event – A series of unique bike rides including; Night Riders (520kms Mildura/Swan Hill or Echuca/Hamilton Saturday night and Port Fairy Sunday morning), Day Timers (250-300kms Saturday until dusk and then 90kms Sunday morning) AND Sunday Striders (90kms Hamilton/Port Fairy on Sunday).
The Setting – Due to the distances travelled, the setting is always varying and always breathtaking.
The Cause – Raising funds for health-related causes, continuing on from Graham Woodrup’s dream of getting more people to realise the fabulous health and social benefits of riding a bike.

Mother’s Day Classic – Hamilton
The Event – The Mother’s Day Classic, Hamilton offers participants a 4.2km or 8.4km option, both of which can we walked, jogged or run.
The Setting – To be confirmed.
The Cause – This nation-wide crusade raises funds for breast cancer research. Aptly held on Mother’s Day annually.
The Event – This one is not only for your fitness purposes but also for your pooches! It’s a leisurely walk with your best pal beside you the entire time.
The Setting – Kicking off at the Lakes Edge Adventure Playground (Hamilton), your dog will love exploring the setting of Lake Hamilton, so very sniff worthy.
The Cause – This is the RSPCA’s biggest fundraising event. Much raised funds got to rehabilitating, rescuing and rehoming animals in need.
June
Serra Terror – Dunkeld
The Event – An ultimate endurance event. Held over the two days (the June long weekend), teams take to an 80km course; that’s the near equivalent of two marathons! Opt to compete as an endurance team (four or more members complete the course in its entirety) or as a relay team (five or more members tag team their way through the course at interchangeable checkpoints).
The Setting – A demanding but stunning hike across the rugged Ranges of the Grampians National Park. Officials change up the course on a yearly basis to ensure the breathtaking scenery is maximised and returning participants are continually challenged.
The Cause – Since its inception in 2010, over $250,000 of funds have been raised and contributed to the Dunkeld Community Centre.

Peaks & Trials Run – Dunkeld
The Event – Calling all trail run lovers, the various lengths of this weekend-long event caters to a vast range of endurance and fitness levels; 6.4km, 11km, 22km, 26km, AGL 50km and Mt Abrupt Challenge Trail Run.
The Setting – Starting and finishing in the heart of Dunkeld, trail through the picture-perfect regions of the Southern Grampians landscape, including Mt Sturgeon, Mt Picaninny and Mt Abrupt. All distances include private trails normally inaccessible to the public.
The Cause – This event actually covets a cash prize for you, the potential victor! First and second place holders (male and female) can take home various dollar values and third place getters (male and female) receive vouchers and/or wine.

NHK Junior Obstacle Race – Hamilton
The Event – Open to 3 to 13-year-olds, the course is 2kms with 18+ obstacles.
The Setting – This course is muddy good fun! An exciting, outdoor obstacle route that will have the kids running, walking, crawling and climbing their way through 18+ fun-filled, mud-soaked obstacles. The event is based at Lakes Edge Adventure Playground, Hamilton.
The Cause – An epic fundraiser for the North Hamilton Kindergarten Inc.

The Hamilton Vitality Fun Run – Hamilton
The Event – Host to a wide range of events, including the 21km run, 10km run/walk, 4.2km run/walk, U14 4.2km run and 1.6km primary school run.
The Setting – The magnificent Grangeburn River Track; 10 kilometres of well-maintained trail that circles the picturesque Hamilton Lake.
The Cause – The Hamilton Vitality Fun Run is proudly powered by Vitality Health and Fitness. Funds raised are designated to a worthy cause each year (e.g. the redevelopment of the cancer treatment and dialysis facilities at the Hamilton Base Hospital).
